We Make Awesome Sh

Bring the Beat Remixer

The music industry has long been one of our favourite playgrounds. Combining our passion for technology and music in one beautiful collaboration makes us very happy.

So, when the lovely boys and girls over at Boys and Girls got in touch asking us to collaborate on a song remixer for Digicel, we did a little geeky dance at our desks.

In the lead up to the Rio 2016 Olympics, Caribbean telecommunications company Digicel, wanted to connect the people of the Caribbean through the passion and spirit of music and sport.

Music artist Machel Montato penned the toe tapping 'Bring the beat' song for Digicel and the fastest man in the world, Usian Bolt, fronts the campaign and adds a few vocals of his own.

The next step is to turn the song into an awesome interactive online song mixer... that's where we step in.

If you've ever heard of or played with garageband, our Bring the Beat remixer does a very similar thing but with one big difference... it's all online in a never-seen-before-full-song-online-remixer kind of way. Woop!

Play around with the original mix and other variations such as 'chill' remix or create your very own version of the song from scratch. With over 500 stems, add Usian Bolt's voice on repeat, bongo in some drums, make the choir sing and drop that bass however YOU want to.

Once you've finished bringing your beat, you can download your remix and share it with all your friends.

Head to http://bringthebeat2016.com/ to create your own remix or listen to some awesome creations from other people all around the world.

The super simple, user friendly, mash the brightly coloured buttons system is so easy to use and only a little bit addictive... go and give it a try. Check out the AwesomeWall on the hub while you're there ;)

We hold no responsilibity for you singing 'Bring the Beat' all day long.
